DONALD R. COFFEY

Pryor Flynn Priest& Harber Attorney Bio

Mr. Coffey was born in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, on January 27, 1943.  He is a graduate of The University of Tennessee (B.S. Business Administration, 1965) and The University of Tennessee College of Law (J.D., 1968).  Mr. Coffey was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1968 and has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Tennessee and the United States Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit.  He is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, Tennessee  Bar Association and has served on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association.  Mr. Coffey is also a member of Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Mr. Coffey’s practice has an emphasis on litigation in the areas of personal injury, criminal law, family law and domestic relations, and worker’s compensation.  He is married to the former, Betsy Fort, and they have three children, M. Christopher Coffey, (a partner with the firm), Don Coffey, Jr., and James Coffey. Hobbies include trail riding and enjoying his grandchildren.
